1. Where are your skis made?
All of our products are built by us in our factory in East Vancouver, British Columbia. From laminating the wood cores to screen printing the topsheets, everything is done in house. Finished skis are tuned locally by industry veterans.
2. What is your warranty policy?
See our warranty policy here.
3. When will I receive my order?
Provided the items you’ve ordered are in stock, they will ship within 3 business days. A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped, providing an estimated arrival date.
4. Can I rent or demo your skis?
We maintain a small fleet of demo skis available in the Vancouver and Whistler region. Please contact us here to arrange a demo time. You will be required to complete a waiver form, and provide a credit card prior to taking the skis out.
5. Can I get a custom pair of skis?
We take great care to develop the best ski designs possible, and to offer a range of sizes, models and material options to meet a broad range of skiers’ needs. With that said, if you have a truly unique project that you would like to work on, we are happy to collaborate to bring your vision to reality. Custom skis begin at $1,200. Please get in touch to discuss your project.
6. Do you offer discounts or sell factory seconds or used product?
At Epilog we believe strongly in offering the best quality products for an honest price. This means our margins are tight and do not over-charge for our product at the start of the season to allow us to “discount” them once the snow has melted. This model allows us to build our skis in our own factory in Vancouver, with the highest quality materials, while offering pricing that is comparable to what is charged by large, international manufacturers.
We do, from time-to-time, offer used demo skis, prototypes and those skis that do not pass our quality control requirements. We will announce the availability of these skis on occasion on our homepage, and via our Instagram account.
7. Is shipping really free?
Yes. Nobody likes to pay for shipping, and we appreciate your support, so shipping’s on us. Any import duties and taxes, however are the responsibility of the purchaser.
8. I’m a great skier, will you sponsor me?
We maintain a very small pro team that tests our product day in and day out around the world, but are not looking to expand at this time. If you are a professional in the ski industry such as a patroller, or represent a group such as a college ski club, please get in touch to discuss joining our pro purchase program.
9. Are you hiring?
We are not currently hiring for any positions. If you are passionate about skiing, manufacturing, and design, we would be happy to keep your resume and cover letter on file, in the event that this changes. Please send an email with a single PDF document attached and the subject heading “EPILOG EMPLOYMENT INQUIRY.”
10. I’m not happy with my purchase, how do I make a return?
We hope you’re happy with your order, but if you change your mind, we will happily refund you for the full purchase price, less any shipping fees. If you would like to make a return, please contact us to request a return authorization number.
Packaging of return items is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. You may use the shipping company of your choice, or we can request a DHL pickup on your behalf. Further details will be provided upon request.
11. Where should I mount my bindings?
All skis ship with a recommended mount location marked on the sidewall. Recommended mount location will also be indicated on the product care card that ships with your skis, and can be found in the product description on our website.
12. What size bit should I use to mount bindings to my new skis?
13. What size skis should I buy?
14. Should I wax my skis?
Yes. All of our skis ship with a general temperature hot wax, and we suggest maintaining your skis with continued waxing.
